Deep inside the dense forests of Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary, a young tiger cub named Jay is born under the protection of his fearless mother. Growing up amidst lakes, bamboo forests, and the echoes of the wild, Jay learns the laws of nature ??? hunt to survive, protect your territory, and fear humans. As years pass, Jay becomes a powerful and majestic tiger admired by forest guards and wildlife photographers. His movements are silently tracked by the forest department, and he becomes a symbol of pride for the region. But the forest around him is slowly shrinking. Illegal woodcutting, expanding villages, and increasing tourism begin disturbing the fragile ecosystem. One summer, during a territorial fight with another dominant tiger, Jay gets badly injured and is forced to leave his natural territory. Disoriented and weak, he unknowingly crosses beyond the safe boundaries of the forest into nearby villages. Panic spreads among villagers as cattle start disappearing. Rumors turn Jay into a ???man-eater??? even though he never attacks humans. A sincere forest officer, Aarav Deshmukh, believes Jay is not dangerous but simply lost and frightened. Along with wildlife veterinarian Dr. Meera, Aarav begins a difficult rescue mission to safely guide Jay back into the forest before angry villagers or poachers kill him. However, political pressure, media sensationalism, and fear among locals make the mission increasingly dangerous. As Jay wanders through farms, rivers, highways, and abandoned fields, the film emotionally portrays the silent suffering of wild animals displaced by human expansion. In parallel, Aarav struggles against corruption within the system, where some officials secretly want the tiger eliminated to avoid public controversy. During the climax, Jay finally reaches the edge of the forest, but poachers set a deadly trap. Aarav risks his life to save the tiger, leading to a tense confrontation between greed and conservation. Injured but alive, Jay disappears back into the jungle, while Aarav watches silently, realizing that the real question is not whether animals can survive with humans ??? but whether humans will allow nature to survive at all. Jay ??? The Lost Tiger is not just a survival thriller; it is an emotional and socially relevant cinematic experience about coexistence, environmental destruction, and the untold pain of wildlife caught between civilization and instinct.
